  • Lu Xiaoben

  • Since Ruben Lundgren moved to Beijing in 2007 people have made comments about his height (which is 2 metres exactly). As a reaction to this constant stream of amazement and good intended jokes about 'the weather up there' we embarked on a three year project. Our aim was to deliberately confuse all this attention with 'being famous' and our hope was that this would turn into a self fulfilling prophecy. Which it did, somehow. This book is a document of that journey, and functions also as a life size ruler for anyone up to 2 metres.

  • Don't Smile Now... Save it for Later!
  • In this book we allowed the photo booths of London to take a look at their own surroundings. It works something like this: go into the booth, open the curtain, feed in the money, hold up a mirror and press the button. In post offices and train stations, supermarkets and shopping centres, the booth camera captures its view of the world outside.
